How far in advance can you take a bridal booking?

I can take a booking up to 18 months in advance, as you’d expect summer weekends are the most popular dates so get in touch asap.

When should I book a hair and/or makeup trial?

Ideally I like to do your trial around 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding. All trials are paid at the time of your appointment. If you’re having a hair trial, I would advise you have ‘day old’ hair, as its easier to style than freshly washed which can be too soft and flyaway. Rest assured I have the right products to help with the styling.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A booking fee of £50 reserves your wedding date in my diary and is deducted from your final balance. In the event of cancellation, it is non-refundable. Full price lists: hair or makeup.

How many people can you style on the morning of the wedding?

This depends on the number in your bridal party and what your hair and/or makeup requirements are. For example, for hair only I allow up to 45 minutes per bridesmaid and up to 1.5 hours for the bride. But all people are different so this is something we can discuss. I also have a number of brilliant assistants who I can call on if necessary, there is an additional charge for a fully experienced trained make up artist or stylist.

Do you charge for travel on the day?

Yes. Mileage is charged at a rate of 50p per mile. Any additional costs such as parking and tolls may also be added to the final invoice. Get in touch through the contact page if you any other questions.

Can I request a custom made item?

Yes, you can! Depending on your request, whether it’s for an accessory or a hand-knitted garment, we can let you know what fabrics or wool we have in stock. Please be aware that many of our items are made from vintage fabrics so we may suggest an alternative.

How long does it take?

For knitwear orders it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to complete as they are hand knitted to order. Other bespoke accessory orders can take as little as 3 days but this depends on the fabric. All custom orders require a small deposit.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

For handmade knitwear, we require a deposit of £25. All other custom orders will require a small deposit but this is dependent on the materials sourced. Returns & exchanges are not accepted on custom made items, but please get in touch with me if you have any problems with your order.
